I work professionally as an actress, musician, vocalist and arts in healthcare practitioner. My embodied practice encompasses writing, voice and moving image. My work is often cyclical and porous in form and explores new dramaturgical perspectives to solo creation. I enjoy working in hybrid ways allowing for an organic cross pollination of ideas and imagery.I have developed and nurtured a lens based performance practice utilising video editing as a devising tool for visual/physical theatrical creations which explore an ongoing interest in language of gesture, mime and the metaphysical.My projects have been associated with The National Theatre of Scotland, The Institut Français, The Actors Space (Catalunya), UZ Arts/Sura Medura (Sri Lanka), Manipulate Festival, The Arches, Cumbernauld Theatre, Paisley Arts Centre, Renfrewshire Leisure, Surge and Dance Base.Clown Doctor/Arts in Healthcare practitioner for Hearts and Minds Charity.
