Siteco was founded in 1995 as a software house working in the field of civil engineering and infrastructure, developing software and supplying technical consulting services in both private and public sector. This activity, allowed Siteco to develop, in time, important Road Information Systems for the road asset evaluation and planning of investments, consolidating the company leadership in this sector, in Italy. Its products, initially developed for Motorway Companies, have now become a standard in the markets of the Public Administrations and Engineering Companies.In 2005, the constant attention to the research and development of high technologies, the deep knowledge and competence acquired in the field of Road Information Systems, databases and GIS systems, combined with a highly qualified team, allowed Siteco to focus its efforts in the development of a high-performance mobile mapping system.The search for the best components to be integrated into this system is still a key point in the release of the very efficient, first-class Road-Scanner. Today the development of this technology includes applications for monitoring road and airport pavements and infrastructure works.To overcome the strong growth, in 2007 Siteco founded a branch in Bulgaria. From the center of Sophia, a team of 15 people work in constant coordination with the headquarters in Bologna. Their work is a valid support for all activities related to the creation of road databases, besides sales and support.Siteco's challenge, today, is the implementation and marketing of a system capable to meet the pressing needs in the field of mapping, survey and road pavement; a highly competitive product, affordable also to small and medium-sized companies.Siteco is an efficient and reliable partner who can count on a young but high-skilled team. The results achieved till now, both in the development of MMS and road surveys, are rewarding.
