Organization like (World Bank, Insurance Companies, Reputed IT Companies etc) Report on targets, planning and evaluation of defined goals. Manage and report on overall budget and allocation of resources. Leadership to Development, Support and QA Teams.  Responsible for the quality of software development process. Employee satisfaction: coaching, career growth, development and training routes. Responsible for taking appropriate measures in case of escalations. Recruitment and Retention of competent, skilled staff. Preparation of Technical and Commercial proposals for New Clients. Tracking software size, effort, cost and schedule of the various tasks and software items / work products of the project. Participate in software process improvement and defect prevention activities. Prepare Project plan and define operational process for the project. Collecting and reporting the Metrics data for the project.  Analyzing the Metrics data (causal analysis) and deciding on the corrective action if required. Allocating tasks to Leaders and Teams Coordinating with the client/users and the team for proper information flow and to clarify project issues. Conferring with senior management on issues for the group as a whole. Track project progress as per schedule Giving overall direction to the efforts of the project team and ensuring motivation and morale. Managing the customer/user relationship Responsible for project deadlines and successful closure Ensure that defined standards and procedures are adhered to in the project. Participation in complete SDLC like Project planning, feasibility study, Systems design, Implementation, Integration and testing, Acceptance, installation, deployment, Maintenance. Responsible for reporting to Management
