Sithembile obtained her National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2017 from the Durban University of Technology. She Then Joined Hiscutt and Dray Consulting Engineers in January 2018 where she started working as the Engineers Representative in construction of 1000 top structures (low cost housing) and VIP’s at Mangcolosi ward 1 and 2 within Maphumulo local municipality area. In 2019 she started working for Msunduzi Municipality as a Liaison officer while still working for Msunduzi Municipality she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Technology (Transportation) from the Central University of Technology. In 2022, she Obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Mancosa. She was then appointed as a Project Manager for various Projects under the Msunduzi Municipality where she had to do a Construction Supervision on low cost housing projects to ensure if it complies with the national building standards and regulations, contracts management and resolve social issues due to the dynamics of the projects within certain wards.Managing the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the Infrastructure needs and housing backlogs, through the implementation of laid down policies and procedures guiding housing development for a range of income levels, coordinating processes associated with sustainable human settlement, and analyzing land and service requirements to meet short and long term delivery objectives, implementing and exercising financial controls and funding requirements, and execution and application of procedures, regulations and standards in order to ensure strategic plans identified in the Integrated Development Plan are afforded priority.
