Founded an initiative to get 1000 African women to create and self-publish their own games. Currently facilitating workshops, managing partnerships and creating content.

As part of the world's largest game development session, I am involved in reviewing and approving sites in Sub-Saharan Africa in preparation for the annual Global Game Jam as well as supporting them with the necessary information to ensure a successful experience leading up to the end of the jam weekend.

Assisted with the program management leading up to A MAZE . / Berlin 2018 and managing the second stage for the duration of the event.

Ubongo Game Lab is a technology group interested in game development, gaming technology and it's use within Zambia. The overall interests of the group are to give visibility to the game development scene in Zambia and encourage its growth. Most recently we have taken the mission to increase women's participation in game development with our annual Games Plus Girls bootcamps.

Co-managing the activities of MakerHut. Makerhut is a creative community and makerspace in Zambia which is the first of it's kind and explores projects and technology in the fields of Electronics, Arts and Industrial Design as part of the Maker Movement.

Assisting in the curation and selection of talks, workshops and content for the annual A MAZE./ Johannesburg festival. A MAZE. is an international label in the field of independent and alternative games, playful media, virtual realities and digital culture.

Selected by Google to act as a liaison for Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University to promote and demonstrate the use of various Google products and help improve the productivity of students and faculty.

Continued my duties that were carried out during my internship at BongoHive which included, but were not limited to the following tasks:• Researching and writing communication material, including newsletters, media releases and web copy.• Assisting in the daily media monitoring of relevant online news pieces, which include the recording and filing of relevant• Setting up monitoring analytics software• Managing an editorial calendar• Web reporting and other online media practices• Cultivating relationships with editors, bloggers, online audiences.• Maintaining BongoHive’s presence online on social media sites by engaging BongoHive followers and fans• Building relationships with the online communications staff in other hubs• Working with the C1rca 1964 to provide content and graphics for BongoHive newsletters, blog and website and other media channels as appropriate• Researching and developing ways to improve engagement• Collecting and scheduling content for BONGOHIVE’s social media sites including Facebook and Twitter.• Write a weekly blog post to be published on the BONGOHIVE website (http://www.bongohive.com).• Support the media and communication team with key events and campaigns.• Updating existing and creating new media lists and key contacts into a database.• Gathering information for journalists.

My part-time responsibilities included sorting, clipping, noise reduction, enhancing and minor editing of tracks for iSchool's ZeduPad software.

Was tasked with various duties during a 3 month internship at Bongohive as a Social Media Intern, recruited by Social Media Management firm, C1RCA 1964.

Took one of the lead roles as co-editor of the high school yearbook. Introduced the concept of themed yearbooks and followed with a Pop Art themed yearbook for that year.
