My responsibility at Fortude were two fold.Firstly to contribute to the Fortude product team to help Fortude, to move from being just an ERP solutions provider to a digital solutions provider and expand to other software verticals.Secondly to lead the technical development efforts related to their internal product ’Shop Floor Control System (SFCS)’.• Lead a group of 5 developers (2 overseas), Prepared work schedules for the team and guided the team through technical issues and challenges.• Provided design and architectural guidance to the Dev team.• Developed different modules in SFCS(Brandix shop floor control system deployed across18 brandix plants in SL, India, Bangladesh and Haiti) and improved the product overall.• Established development practices within the team to speed up processes and reduce costs.• Collaborating with other technical teams and stakeholders of the project (DevOps team, QAs, BAs, etc.) to ensure the smooth continuity of the project.• As an inaugural member of the newly established fortude product team, contributed to setting up various processes, conducting various PoC’s to choose branching strategies, repo structures etc and creating a knowledge base to onboard new members smoothly.• Conducted over 25+ technical interviews to recruit software engineers, senior software engineers and support engineers to the organization.
