I joined this organization during the second phase of my internship, Student Industrial Project (4 months). I joined the company during outage phase under Operation Department and later under Boiler Department. When I was in the Operation Department , I assisted the engineers in the operation monitoring of the power plant in the CCR (central control room). I also learned how to interpret the Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) for the Condensate and Feedwater System as well as the overall process flow of the coal-fired power plant and I was closely exposed to the Factories and Machineries Act 1967 such as PMD (Permit Mesin Dandang), PMT (Permit Mesin Tekanan) and PMA (Permit Mesin Angkat).After that, I joined the Boiler Department where it focuses on the steam generation of the power plant while being environmentally compliant. I worked together with the engineers and technicians in unit outage 2018. Conducted equipment installation and troubleshooting such as burner, coal-feeder, mill, boiler and RAPH (regenerative air pre-heater). The tasks mentioned required AESP license to be taken.

Universiti Teknologi Petronas has divided their 8 months internship duration into two parts; Student Industrial Training (4 months) and Student Industrial Project (4 months). I joined this organization during my Student Industrial Training period where I was placed under Residensi Sefina project, a luxurious 34 story condominium. I participated in the Audit process for the Residensi Sefina project as well. Went for on job training for lift installation and calibration. Worked under the Project Management team with the responsibility of monitoring and tracking of construction progress through Progress Chart Monitoring, Provisional Variation Order (PVO) and Request for Information (RFI).
