I have worked on construction projects from the development stage to the execution stage. These projects needed planning and scheduling along with site management and coordination, construction drawings, quantity estimation. This also involved maintaining the balance between total floats and critical path of the project.As a sustainability consultant, I engaged in active dialogue with developers and architects to evaluate building designs and ensure they met energy conservation codes or green building accreditation standards. I also played a key role in capacity building efforts, organizing and conducting over 50 workshops for government agencies and professionals in India on sustainability.In addition, I utilized DesignBuilder software to conduct sustainability assessments on building designs. This involved analyzing various design options and evaluating the energy efficiency and environmental impact of each option to make informed recommendations.I also undertook architecture consulting projects on behalf of clients, providing design evaluation and project management services. These projects required a deep understanding of sustainable design principles and the ability to effectively communicate recommendations to clients and team members.Overall, my work as a sustainability consultant involved a diverse range of responsibilities, from using DesignBuilder software to conducting workshops and providing consulting services to clients. As a research fellow, I played a key role in supporting the climate lab by providing assistance to users on the effective use of climate instruments. In addition, I collaborated on proposal writing, which required extensive research and analysis. This involved working closely with our supervisor and other team members to develop proposals. As part of my responsibilities, I also managed various activities happening in the lab, which required strong organizational and communication skills. This included overseeing projects, coordinating team members, and ensuring that work was completed on time.Furthermore, I conducted numerical simulations and statistical analyses with respect to the urban climate. This work required a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. I was also involved in data collection on site, where I used my technical skills to ensure that accurate and reliable data was collected. Worked as a research associate in the ENACT: Evaluating the feasibility and efficacy of integrated catchment-scale Nature-based solutions for Climate Change adaptation in India. ENACT is a collaboration project between Loughborough University, UK, and the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, and the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. My role involved interfacing between the different teams and the onsite team in Guwahati. Primary work revolved in the identification of Urban Blue-Green Infrastructure intervention Hotspots and simulation of intervention using combined community-led and model-based approaches.

This project aimed to identify the most significant carbon contributors for a major real estate developer with annual revenue of 49 million dollars. As an assistant professor, I taught courses in Design Dissertation, Building Science Lab, Climatology, Architectural Design Studio, and Urban Design Studio. I emphasized sustainable design principles in all of my courses and guided students in their undergraduate thesis work. I also set up a building science lab dedicated to exploring sustainable building practices. Overall, I'm passionate about promoting sustainable architecture and design and helping students become environmentally responsible architects and designers.
