Roles and Responsibilities- Coordinating the allocation of resources such as machinery, manpower, and subcontractors for multiple projects taking place simultaneously, while effectively managing deliveries to the construction sites.- Administering subcontracts, which includes assessing variations and claims, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining professional relationships with the supply chain.- Developing comprehensive construction work programs for each project. Interpreting construction drawings and adhering to standard specifications.- Managing contract administration, including revising Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages and Scope of Work (SOW) documents.- Implementing Quantity takeoffs & preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Estimating on CCS Candy Worksheets for each items identified on BOQ- Understanding key contractual provisions related to payment claims, variations, delays, insurances, securities, and practical completion.- Overseeing contract and commercial management including handling claims, variations, and extensions of time.- Supervising internal crew and subcontractor activities on-site to ensure alignment with approved plans and specifications and providing guidance on work methodologies.- Tracking hours and expenses meticulously to maintain project timelines and stay within budgetary limits.- Preparation of Environmental Management Plans for all projects to obtain approval from relevant authorities, including Building Consent and Winter Works Consent.- Creating Health and Safety Management Plans and ensuring their implementation on- site.
