CurrentCurrently,I am leading a team of 24 executives representing Enginecomponents Machining.Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activitieswithin or between departments.Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and productionsequences to meet production goals.Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policiesand procedures for workers.Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records,and prepare management reports of production results.During my tenure, I have successfully lead an Engine machining teamfor the migration of BS3 to BSIV Vehicle norms in the plant.I did so many process improvements including Mistake Proofing doneto identify Injector bore operation missing in Makino machines, RPDimprovement of various machining lines viz. Block finish machining,Block Rough machining, Neptune camshaft machining etc.Under my supervision, my team has done many cost-saving projectslike Tool life improvement, Rework reduction in Head, Block machininglines.Successfully migrated from BSIV to BSVI norms in Apr'20 for allmachining lines (Head, Block, Camshaft machining lines etc.)Successfully implemented various changes in EDMs during this BSVITransition.In addition to the process, product-related operations improved laborproductivity of 202 associates (workers) in all Engine machining lines.Improved the TEI (Total Employee Involvement) in all machining linesby conducting various Quality circle competitions.Ensured and practiced safety regulations in all machining lines.Lead and Practised TQM (Total Quality Management) principles and 5SPrinciples for better workplace organization.Lead as an Internal Auditor for Deming prize Informal diagnosis atASHOK LEYLAND LTD.
