• Design and development of products based on EN, IS and ISO standards. Working from initial evaluation of theoretical designs through development stages, proto typing, testing and then release the product to various Global units• Developing AC/DC power distribution circuits & Specification of Low voltage control panel pertaining to IEC and IS standards.• Selection of Electrical & Electronics OEM components and materials for Power distribution, I/O Controllers, Sensors, Cables, batteries etc.• Design and develop Interface control Drawings and Electrical schematics using E-Plan P8 and understanding mechanical 2D/3D design models.• Low voltage Power calculations, Sizing of protection devices and conductors, selection of power supplies & other OEM components• Perform Engineering calculations, Energy calculation for new products and Design Failure Mode Effective Analysis (DFMEA) by compiling and examining data.• Responsible for the BOM for components and sub-assemblies, and Good understanding of the product life cycle of the components, spare parts allocation, BOM review, Master data for electrical components SAP /PLM/PDM• Cable harness design for power circuit, control circuit and Communication Based on IPC Standards• ECAD Library maintenance for commercial components and experience in setting up of EDM and Parts Management practices Knowledge upon Product Life Cycle• Create test requirements for Environmental, EMC, EMI, Power line and HALT test for Electrical components and ensure maximum test coverage • Design and develop electrical Automated Test Equipment (ATE requirements and test setups implementation for manufacturing team.• Working on proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects in consistency with engineering policies and procedures.
