As an Operations Manager at a Salt Manufacturing SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise) , I oversaw the operations of the company to ensure on-time deliveries of orders, while achieving maximum possible operating efficiency by reducing labor cost, managing inventory, and site utilization. I am an avid supply chain practitioner certified in AnyLogistix, a powerful supply chain analytics software, using which I can perform supply chain network optimization, master planning, and supply chain simulation to analyse and improve the performance of various scenarios and strategies.During my Masters in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick, I learned to effectively use business models, techniques and strategies to address problems and enhance performance of engineering establishments / industries and developed a profound business acumen. As a part of my dissertation work I studied and assessed the supply chain of a Forging SME. With the help of AnyLogistix, I increased the net operating profit of the SME by 2.3%, while reducing the total transportation cost by 16.7%. I also achieved demand fulfillment and performed inventory optimization for the company, resulting in higher customer satisfaction and lower inventory holding cost. I am passionate about logistics, operations, and supply chain aspects of an industry, and I aspire to become a supply chain leader who can transform and optimise the supply chain of any organization.
