Worked as an AWS Developer for State Farm through Accenture, where I played a key role in developing the "File Conversion Engine" tool. This tool has been widely adopted across the ET data area and is instrumental in State Farm's AWS migration initiatives, resulting in a patent application.Patent Details: Provisional App Number: US 63/356,956During my tenure, I successfully developed multiple AWS based tools for seamless data migration from on-premises servers to AWS. I also implemented robust self-healing mechanisms to ensure high availability of production systems. Highlights of my contributions include:• Created various data ingestion patterns in AWS using AWS Data Sync, AWS Transfer Family, and AWS CLI.• Migrated over 280 TB of data from on-premises servers(DB2) to AWS.• Developed automation solutions for data migration and post-migration data validation.• Developed a reusable solution named "File Conversion Engine" that reads different file formats (JSON, CSV, XML, TEXT) from an S3 bucket, converts them to Parquet files, and writes them to another S3 bucket in the data lake with ACL.• Built reusable solutions for self-healing and monitoring of data sync or conversion engine failures, as well as handling S3FS mount failures in EC2 instances.• Developed a reusable solution for fast file copying/synchronization between two different S3 buckets by leveraging parallel instances of AWS CLI CP/Sync commands, resulting in a 70% reduction in data transfer time.• Provided L2/L3 support to customers facing challenges related to file conversion to Parquet or file transfers to S3.• Assisted various teams by sharing data migration patterns and conducting demos on utilizing ingestion patterns and automations effectively.• Possess extensive experience in Terraform, enabling me to contribute to infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.

Project description:-Data Warehouse has grown a lot (approximately 700 TB) and our client wants to have the control over it. So, we have proposed an approach which will take care of reducing the space drastically without any data loss in DW and archive the data and move it to CLOUD.These application’s which i have developed using Shell script, python and SQL will be used across BIC and it needs filter condition and table names as a parameter. This application will take care of archiving the older data based on the filter conditions and older data will be moved to AWS cloud.We have developed python reusable which will load and unload data into AWS cloud from Linux box and vice versa.Any time data can be unloaded from AWS by proving the filename and same can be loaded back to table for analytics.
