Sten has extensive contacts in the global Film Industry , the tourism and recreation industries of Montana, and throughout state government. Sten also served as Treasurer on the executive board of the Association of Film Commissioners International, where he managed a 2 million dollar budget, for the association of over 320 film commissions worldwide.As the son of an Architect he also learned the building trades. He has worked as a finish carpenter on new construction, and remodeled homes, to keep busy during transitions in his careers.
