Collaboration with Dr. Henry Lee and team on research focused on remote vital sign monitoring for the NICU using computer vision and AI. Our team started the IRB-approved study in Summer 2016 at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford.With our initial study with 15 infants in the NICU, were able to extract continuous breathing signal with maximum variance of 5 breaths per minute in comparison with contact-based sensors. Our work was presented at Pediatric Academic Society Meeting (PAS) at San Francisco, CA in May 2017.
