Considered all aspects of the general scope and expertise of work split with the architect and provided technical information such as detailed drawings and specifications for the architect to develop the facade design at various design stages.During the schematic design stage:• Assist the architect with the architectural massing of the building and produce the initial facade panelisation for the overall envelope;• Analyse specific facade areas to agree principles of design by the architect and coordinate the facade design with other client specialists;• Develop facade analysis of external wall systems, typical and special details and initial specifications for architect’s and client’s review.During the design development stage:• Conduct the panel optimisation and reduce the number of unique panels considering the cost and buildability;• Develop the general arrangement drawings describing the details of the facade, including elevations, sections, unrolled facade drawings, facade panelisation drawings and relative facade three-dimensional models as well as technical reports;• Be in charge of defining the primary and secondary structural system of the facade system, as well as its connection details to the primary structure of the building.

Engaged with various projects at the preliminary design stage and worked closely with other disciplines to achieve the milestone of each design stage. Collaborated with the Facade Associate in developing initial concepts from clients and evaluate the material as well as system options.Also involved in:• Finalising the connection details in AutoCAD and adjusting the three-dimensional model accordingly in Revit;• Discovering the basic Grasshopper functions to generate editable parametric models in Rhinoceros and improving the efficiency of the modelling process;• Verifying the calculation of the structural elements such as transoms and mullions in Excel and undertaking the analysis of the unitised facade system in Robot Structural Analysis;• Delivering three presentations for clients and four bilingual technical reports for design review given limited time and resources.

Assisted the senior structural engineer with the structural member design and analysed the structural stability of buildings. Cooperated with the department executives and established an independent firm for the Department of Information Technology (IT), which allowed it to provide more efficient software solutions for both internal and external affairs.Whilst carried out several tasks:• Sorting the documents required for application and implementing an agile methodology to manage the documentation submission;• Studying the specific tax policy for the industrial development zone and ensuring the registration complies with the regulatory terms;• Assisting the department manager with the organisation of resources and liaising with the executive team to complete the registration under regulations.The subsidiary was estimated to reduce the running cost by 10%, as the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) has a lower tax rate.
