I was responsible for the operational readiness and transition of the New Doha International Airport and the development of the ORAT methodologies along with gaining sign-off to the created ORAT programme for Qatar Airways.I supervised the development of working practices in relation to operational solutions and procedures for stakeholders operations, and leading and supporting in the development of a commercial strategy / proposition.I managed the development and implementation of an effective stakeholder management and governance of reporting structure including risk management and issues register for the programme.I managed the ORAT programmes requirements and activities for catering, general aviation, Qatar Executive, Qatar Airways flight operations, Qatar duty free, Airport commercial and marketing. I also worked with the designated consultant on the terminal operation.

I was responsible for all operations at the world’s busiest international airport, providing inspirational, proactive and visible leadership to facility teams in all units across Heathrow. I inspired a team to give a great experience to all our customers, and led these teams through times of crisis and acted as tactical Silver Commander.I managed the efficient flows of travellers through the airport whilst maintaining security standards and worked with third parties. I also provided leadership in security and health & safety and environment (HSSE), and acted as the Security Advisor and Airport Threat Assessor. Along with responsibility for all assets including: terminals, baggage, airside infrastructure, roads, customer service, resource planning, emergency planning, contingencies, crisis management and people management of approx. 2000 BAA employees.I was also responsible for all assets including: terminals, baggage, airside infrastructure, roads, customer service, resource planning, emergency planning, contingencies, crisis management and people management including managing 15 staff direct line reports with day-to-day operational management of approximately 2000 BAA employees. I provided leadership in security, health & safety and environment (HSSE) and I enabled compliance with company legal and statutory requirements that resulted in a health & safety and environment sound operator.I supervised all terminal areas including: piers, satellite buildings, offices and rented areas by airline and retail partners, customer service, terminal security, resource planning, emergency planning, contingencies, crisis management, people management including the line management of 15 staff with family tree including a total of 180 staff members. I was also responsible for terminal control, command control, contingencies, departures and BA in T4.

I contributed to the success of the T5 Integration Programme after delivering and supporting the related activities in the operational readiness, along with solutions team of T5 integration with Joint Corporation with British Airways.I led in the design and development of the T5 proving trials and was directly responsible for the development of proving trails and acted as head of Stakeholder Relations for security, transfers and Airside product areas within HAL. I developed and maintained the operational trials database and all proving documentation. I developed and delivered successful Aircraft Trials Programme that brought aircraft from the BA fleet from A320 to 747 into T5.I worked with internal / external stakeholders including NATS, and control authorities and line managed staff in support of these activities, directly responsible for leadership and performance monitoring.

I provided an effective and efficient service as a part of a team to ensure that the movement is operated in a safe environment. I had to ensure that all operations take place in line with best practice and in line with BAA and CAA policy. I liaised with all airport users including handling agents, airlines, NATS and Senior Management. I dealt with the initial setup of the Operations Department in an airline environment. Dealing with aircraft hire/leasing contracts, weather, flight planning, and flightwatch.
