I was also responsible for the coordination of the Diversity Leadership Board chaired by the CEO. The role was created to ensure effective implementation of a significant capital works upgrade program and provide HR/industrial relations leadership to the VIC/TAS region. The role required regular interaction with Unions and delegates, and I represented CCA at Fair Work Australia, including conciliation and arbitration proceedings.

Responsible for the successful implementation of a national training pilot based on the ASDA UK ‘Stores of Learning’ concept. I reported to the National People & Capability Manager Supermarket Operations. The pilot included the testing and development of a new training operations model, training calendar, curriculum, and ROI measures. As a result of the pilot I was responsible for developing a revised investment case for a national rollout from FY11 onwards.
