Responsible for Kofax's Business in Latin America (Software and Solutions).Transformed Kofax's GTM model and company image in the region; from a document scanning component SW company, to a respected, World-Class, Enterprise Capture SW Company, focusing on large accounts, achieving previously unimaginable 7 (USD)-digit Capture SW sales.Streamlined / updated the contractual status of all Kofax employees in the region, ensuring a compliant, competent and long lasting regional sales & support team. I searched for, secured, designed, built and set up a top-level, Latin American HQ office for Kofax in São Paulo, streamlining the company's LATAM operations into a properly set up and compliant subsidiary.Grew Kofax's YoY business by more than 70% after my 1st full fiscal year (while sustaining an imposed reduction on team's headcount). I managed to grow the business further, achieving a 15% sustained YoY growth from my 1st full fiscal year to my second full fiscal year (with zero growth in headcount).My team achieved various historical Capture SW license sales, the last of which in June 2011 (the largest single SW booking for Kofax worldwide in 2011, and record single capture SW sale for any company in Latin America) to one of the world's premiere banks' Brazilian subsidiary. The sale closed after record 6-month cycle, on June 2011.

DICOM Group, Plc. was the Parent company of document-based technology companies, including Kofax Image Products, Topcall, LCI and Neurascript.As of Feb. 19th, 2008; all company names merged under the single brand of KOFAX.I played a key role as co-Founder of the DICOM/KOFAX "Intelligent Capture and Exchange" Initiative, reporting to Dicom (EMEA) Management and DICOM/KOFAX's CMO. The initiative was the founding element which transited KOFAX from a SW provider for document-scanning software technology, to a world-class solution provider of document-based process automation.During this time, I was also responsible for Kofax's initial AVALIN product family GoToMarket Strategy in EMEA.The job served as foundation for the subsequent position of Sr. Director of Global Solutions Marketing at DICOM/KOFAX.

I Opened Portugal's Subsidiary for the document capture-centric, multi national DICOM Group Plc., in Nov. 2002.A self-sustaining profit center for DICOM/Kofax was generated a few months later, with very little initial investment.The business unit became profitable in less than 12 months after inception (cash-flow positive in 6 months)I Established DICOM / Kofax as the region's leading Information Capture Software Vendor and Document Scanner Distributor in less that 24 months, and remained as Dicom / Kofax Portugal's Executive Director until 2010.
