Previously the method used was completely manual and involved the manual capture of forms both by the clients and by Sanlam iTrade. I led the project team from inception to conclusion that digitized the entire capturing of the client’s details and the investment they wish to take.• A key feature of the project was the integration of a FICA service which allows the client’s details to be verified and cross checked with the Department of Home Affairs in real time (Name, Surname and ID Number). The service also allowed the bank details to be verified in real time by checking the account details of the client in real time.• Project team involved StockShop (Johannesburg), Sanlam iTrade (Cape Town) and This Is Me (Cape Town)FNB Securities Rebranding• FNB Securities needed their investment website to be rebranded and redesigned with a modern look to attract new customers.• I led the team which was responsible for the overall front end design and development of the new website.• Due to the successful leadership of the project, the project has been granted a phase 2 by the Executive Management team of FNB Securities IT department which is based in RMB Private Bank Head Offices in Sandton. Phase 2 is scheduled to begin from May 2017.• The project team I led included StockShop designers and front end developers (Johannesburg), a front end developer from Russia, an outsourced designer from Hyde Park and collaborative resources part of the FNB development team and their business analysts.
