I started at Smarter Shows while it was very much in the start-up phase with few processes and systems in place. Since then, my responsibilities have grown to oversee every technical consideration of the company. I have been involved in the delivery of 70+ expos and conferences, notably the pre-show and onsite aspects of registration and lead retrieval. Recently adapting to challenges of the pandemic I have been instrumental in bolstering our online offering with virtual events, enhanced exhibitor listings and advertising. Despite managing a relatively small team we have always been ambitious in our project scope and have achieved a significant amount with the resource available. Primarily creating an event specific tech stack catering for internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that the company has suitable systems and business processes in place to enable effective management of our event portfolio. As a website developer at UKIP Media & Events, I managed the company's portfolio of customer facing websites and back-office admin systems and was also responsible for focusing on the technical aspects of email marketing and database management.

During my time at JP Morgan Chase I was part of the vendor management office and responsible for security clearing all IT contractors that worked at the bank. I was also responsible for liaising with 3rd party development company for update requests within the IT management system.
