A graduate of the University of Windsor, I possess a BASc – Honours Civil Engineering and over 20 years of progressive experience in consulting and government administration. Throughout my career, I have lead with responsible management of multi-million dollar projects (eg. reconstruction of C-K Health Alliance) in Canada and the USA. As a member of the Senior Management Team at Chatham-Kent, my communication skills are supported by numerous Council Reports, presentations and Public Information / Consultation Centres. My experience in public administration is supported by dynamic leadership / team management related to resource / performance management, strategic visioning, business plans, strategic development, management of infrastructure data, multi-year work plans and major community service initiative developments including: Management of municipal infrastructure (multi-millions dollars); Management of public municipal conventional / accessible transit; Development of Chatham-Kent’s first-ever interurban transit service operating between Blenheim, Chatham, Dresden, Ridgetown, Tilbury, Wallaceburg and Wheatley; Restructuring of public conventional and accessible transit services (seven year plan of $16.6M); Experience in the development of RFI’s, RFP’s, grant applications, funding receipts, and program financial reporting (provincial and federal levels); Experience in inter-community / agency / jurisdiction collaboration (including pioneering a cost savings and efficiency exercise with the KFA, OMAFRA and other ministries and departments).I have been involved as a volunteer with many professional organizations as well as the Academic Advisory Board - St. Clair College. I have taken pride in chairing that Team. This experience has afforded me exposure to college operations and curriculum establishment. Furthermore, I have taken pride in lecturing to students at college / university level and mentoring graduates in their career ambitions.
