About Syed Jamal Al-Idrus

Started off as an industrial process control system field engineer, and eventually moved on to sales/marketing. Was the Malaysian product manager for the DeltaV process automation system, and introduced the product to the Malaysian market (1998 - 2005), also the PlantWeb Consultant for Malaysia (2004 - 2005).Between 2005 and 2011, I served as Senior Manager for Integrated System Solutions at Tanjung CSI Sdn Bhd.I currently provide independent consulting and training services in areas associated with Process and Safety automation.Specialties: Process/Safety Systems architecture & design, communications technologies and general IT.
