About Saeed Ramezanjamaat, Ph.D.
I received B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Zanjan University in 2003 and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and Shinshu University in 2006 and 2014, respectively. My research interests include the application of evolutionary algorithms to the optimal operation and planning of distribution networks, distribution automation, and smart grids. I am honored to receive APPEEC 2013's Best Student Paper Award from IEEE Power & Energy Society and Monbukagakusho Scholarship from Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology. I have two national patents on the automation and protection of transmission, sub-transmission, and distribution networks. Currently, I am a project manager in Thermal Power Plants Holding Company (TPPH). My role is to lead five open-cycle to combined-cycle conversion projects in the gas-fired thermal power plants.
