Design engineering including: energy modeling, equipment selection, energy engineering, commissioning/retro-commissioning, field data collection, micro-turbine and co-generation design, formal drawing production and coordination between trades.

Part-time facilities engineering work during school year. Air balancing in Chemistry building saving the University ~$55,000 a year. Created university-wide blueprints for their chilled water loop and natural gas piping. Assisted zone leads in maintenance and repair of compressors, air-handlers, chillers and boilers. Significant work in energy management goals for 2003-2009 California energy projects.

Worked in the field to create as-builts. AutoCAD experience to create drawings, update existing work and translate paper drawings into DWG files. American Disability Act experience through retrofitting Los Angeles Unified School District HQ.

Assisted facilities engineers in creating blueprints for chilled water loop and natural gas piping. Worked with facilities groups to increase energy efficiency and reduce HVAC system cost. Spearheaded a project to standardize the project processes at all Southern California Boeing campuses. Trained in 5S methodology, which was implemented in the standardization project. Worked in the Systems Engineering group for the C-17 Globemaster III transport airplane. Extensive experience in Systems Engineering methodology, requirements, integrated product teams and completed Cal-Tech Systems Engineering certificate.
