Currently managing all Hospitality projects for the Washington, DC office. Responsible for leading collaborative design effort to be undertaken by project team in development of planning and design concepts. Duties range from design, project management, budgeting, development, production, as well as marketing presentations to prospective clients. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, solve problems, and meet projective deadlines. Oversee development with project team members from the client, as well as the sub consultants to support effective communication through the design process. Very creative, well versed in all areas and flourishes under pressure. Extremely driven, personable and organized. Expert in AutoCAD, CD’s/DD’s and Project Management. Knowlegeable in all technical requirements for specifications, programming, space planning, design boards, materials and finishes, furnishings and equipment.

Responsible for managing the design submittal of 10 Brands. Developed approved packages for (3) Brands for new construction, renovation and conversions with (10) procurement companies Reviewed twenty-four design boards and specifications to ensure all requirements were met for each Brand and to approve packages for Guestrooms and Public Spaces. Coordinate and developed design concepts for Model Rooms at Corporate Headquarters; included architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, estimating and procurement of FF&E suppliers to ensure projects were within budget and brand standards. Prepared interior design reviews for all FF&E and drawing submittals. Ensured all Brand requirements are met for each project. Includes the communication with franchisees and consultants on the current prototype. Developed and help to implement new bedding program with franchisees for all Brands.

Responsible for facilitating projects ranging from 500SF to 650,000SF. Worked with design teams that consisted of architects and designers to help create new spaces for Commercial sites. Designed and developed ceiling, electrical, HVAC and space plans in AutoCad and Microstation programs. Worked directly with superintendents of construction firms to facilitate projects for major law firms, corporations, hotels, restaurants and healthcare sites. Ordered and specified all materials with vendors and local design centers.

Responsible for the scheduling of all group tours through the White House with congressional offices. Coordinated the arrival ceremonies of foreign dignitaries to the White House. Organized special events held at the White House.
