As a Sr. Architect I lead a small team of technologists and coordinated my activities with both internal and 3rd party teams. In collaboration with the business teams, I reached out to tier-1 global mobile and automotive customers to understand their needs and ensure we were building the right product. The objective was to establish the company as a trusted partner by giving quality analysis and honest unbiased advice to our customers. 3-year Technology Plan: Worked with senior management to devise an iterative technology plan to deliver market leading performance for projects capable of reaching $4 billion TAM. Built consensus across the organization by clearly communicating hardware and software requirements to internal and external multi-national engineering teams. Also aligned the work being executed by 3rd party suppliers.Risk Mitigation: Enabled multiple strategies to mitigate risk through constant engagement with customers, competitive analysis, simulation, rapid prototyping, change management and frequent iterative releases.

Lead several teams of 3-9 engineers. Architected the host interface, data-path, encryption, security and debug capabilities of ASIC and firmware design. Modeled the design to reduce risk and ensure it would meet functional requirements. Engaged with tier-1 customers and ecosystem partners to coordinate technology development. Worked with multiple external tool vendors to develop a new analyzer. This gave us early access to the technology while also allowing us to negotiate more aggressive pricing. Member of technology acquisition team that performed technology due-diligence investigation ahead of business engagement.

[System Architect] - Hired and lead a team of 8 engineers. Architected the datapath for Hybrid HDD/SSD drives. Worked with the internal ASIC design team to ensure the hardware acceleration and software design were aligned. Designed a PCIe based storage communication protocol and communicated requirements to our 3rd party supplier. Evaluated tool vendors and established capital expenses budget. [Program Lead] - Responsible for overseeing firmware feature integration and product development from conception to high volume production. Handled high profile boundary breaking programs including: 2TB Drive, 4K Sectors, 3TB Drive (48-Bit LBA).

Designed system level application software, drivers, libraries and BSP logic for a wire-speed iSCSI network storage controller with 11 CPU. Focused on Interrupt controller, JFFS Flash File system and high-speed memory channel.
