Quality assurance officer (QC / FB / UBS).- Changes, Events, OOS/OOL, CAPA- QC incoming goods, Microbiology, Chemistry- Validation (e.g. URS, VP, IQ, OQ)- Responsible QA officer for changes initiated by the purchasing department

• Responsible for managing the clinical pathology & biomarkers laboratory within the Department of Drug Safety MSD in The Netherlands
• Main focus on people management, health safety environment and GLP regulations, innovation, investments and the triangle Quality (of the work), Speed (within time lines), Costs (optimizing work /costs ratio)
• Communicating with colleagues from all over the world about: studies, reports, protocols, analyze methods, assays, planning, investments and measurement of study samples
• Responsible for evaluation & interpretation of all clinical chemistry data within the Department of Drug Safety MSD in The Netherlands
• Study Director / Monitoring Scientist development & validation clinical pathology assays (developed and validated clinical pathology assays)

Responsible for managing the clinical pathology & biomarkers laboratory in absence of the manager

Main focus on:- performing all types of routine and special laboratory assays- managing laboratory supplies- handling chemicals (ordering, storage, safety, regulations,disposal of)- performing preventive maintenance on expensive laboratory instruments and repairing defects
