UK based fabric engineering company, with over 50 years experience in the design, manufacture and installation of steel and aluminium structures with tensile fabric membranes. Operating in a range of industries, including armed forces, water and waste treatment, construction, telecommunications, sports and agriculture, we have a worldwide reputation for the quality and service of the products we provide. Products range from tents for military personnel to covering aircraft carriers and from covering large waste water (sewage) treatment plants to a farmer's slurry lagoon.

Family Trustee for the Joseph Crossley's Almshouses, a charity which manages 32 homes in Halifax. The homes were built in 1863 by Joseph Crossley and finished by his son Edward in 1869 and were intended "for people of good character who enjoy living in a safe community environment". The homes are still run to the same principles and continue to thrive, supporting 40-50 residents at any given time.

The OAA works to keep old boys (and soon girls) of Aysgarth School in North Yorkshire connected long after they move on to their senior schools. The association supports over 1,500 members across 10 decades of cohorts, providing them with social events and sporting fixtures throughout the UK.

The Aysgarth School Foundation is committed to widening access to Aysgarth School via bursaries and supporting the development of Aysgarth as one of the country’s leading preparatory schools. The Foundation also support's the school with its outreach initiatives for supporting the local community.

Responsible for European sales for the OpenText LegalTech business units, which included the initial merger of two business units and the restructuring and expansion of the team across Europe. OpenText Legal Tech's primary focus is on the sales of our Discovery (formerly Recommind Inc) and eDocs solutions into the legal sector and beyond. Solutions include; OpenText Axcelerate, Perceptiv, eDocs and Decisiv.

I built and managed the UK and latterly European business for San Francisco start-up Recommind (acquired by OpenText in 2006). Initially focusing on Decisiv Search sales into the law firm market, we grew the business into a leader in the eDiscovery space, supporting law firms, corporations and governments across Europe.

Initially responsible for new business sales and account management of clients in the legal sector, selling financial management software and professional services. Included a period of Sales Management of the UK sales team, which involved the rebuild and management of a new team.

Starting as a sales executive after leaving university, I subsequently built and managed a team of sales people responsible for the advertising and subscription revenue for two commercial legal magazines.
