'Integrating Technology: A School-Wide Framework to Enhance Learning' was published in March 2020 and presents a unique and disruptive vision for how we can think about and embed technology in education to ensure it meets its true purpose: enhancing student learning.I am currently working on my 2nd book, also under contract to Heinemann Publishing.

EDYou is a podcast by teachers, for teachers, with the aim of making education research available to teachers.In this role I research education topics using primarily academic sources, synthesize and communicate relevant information in a way that is accessible and enjoyable, with a focus on classroom application.Additional skills relevant to this role include: - web design - social media marketing - communication and organization with interviewees - podcast producing, editing and publishing

As EdTech Integration Specialist and Primary ICT Leader at Berlin International School, my role encompassed pedagogical, leadership and technical aspects of technology in teaching and learning. - I mentored, coached and modeled effective teaching with technology, working with individual teachers and teams at the level and in the style most suited to their needs.- I was responsible for designing and implementing an integrated technology curriculum in line with the IB PYP beliefs about technology's role in learning, working in partnership with the curriculum co-ordinator to ensure technology was meaningfully and sustainably embedded in teaching and learning. - I designed and led whole staff and whole school training and professional development workshops, as well as founding and running a Professional Learning Community for technology integration.- Working with the Head of ICT, Principal, Director and other leadership positions, I proposed and led the implementation of long term increases in technology resource and infrastructural development. This included establishment of leasing agreements to more than double the number of mobile devices in our school in the first year, with a long-term plan for year-on-year increases and development, curation and management of software needs for teachers and students, establishment of communication and collaboration links between pedagogical and technical teams, and creation of a school-wide vision and purpose for technology's role in learning.

In this role I worked closely with the company director to organize, manage, schedule and oversee school-based education workshops, open to teachers from around the world. This included:- Creating contracts for presenters and host schools.- Managing email communication with schools, presenters and vendors for events.- Producing, recording and editing a podcast series with leading educators.- Social media management.- Attending and running events in person

Full time PYP and UK National Curriculum teaching of a Year 2 class in an International School in Thailand. The class has a wide range of language requirements, cultural diversity and additional support needs. I design and facilitate active, inquiry-based and high differentiated lessons to cater to all needs and foster enthusiasm and enjoyment for learning.

Grade 2 PYP class teacher with responsibility for co-ordinating English Language Dvelopment (EAL), and Literacy in Primary. Leadership responsibilities included ELD team leadership, scheduling, budget management, resourcing, staff training and policy development in ELD and literacy.

I founded the Music Department at BKIS in 2010, ordering instruments, preparing resources and researching and writing the music curriculum. I planned and taught all music classes to grades 1-6, arranged concerts and musical events and worked in partnership with class teachers to support the wider curriculum.In addition, I created and managed the school internal website/class blogs, supported staff ICT training and IT issues.I researched and developed aspects of the English curriculum, and proposed the use of the International Primary Curriculum, which the school began in 2011.
