Steve Gluck is an independent consultant specializing in new technologies and companies in the water/wastewater industries. His expertise includes water chemistries and systems for water treatment, membrane and filtration technology and application, analytical chemistry, technical due diligence, exploration and team leadership. Steve worked for Dow Chemical from 1979 to 2015 in the fields of water technology, alternative feedstocks from algae, environmental analytical chemistry, process analysis, organic chemicals analysis and exploring new technology and wastewater process troubleshooting. He has 6 US patents/applications as well as >30 publications. Previously, he was the president of the Instrumentation Testing Association, and is currently active in the Water Environment Federation and an advisor to several companies and organizations. He received a BS from Whitworth College, an MS from the University of Idaho and a PhD from the University of Leipzig.
