Overseeing daily exports into the European Union and producing the correct commercial documents required for export including preferential origin status and ICS2 Compliance. In addition to the daily exports I help oversee the commercial paperwork for our twice weekly breakbulk shipments into Europe.Additional responsibilities include and are not limited to, issuing clearing instructions to agents for imports, providing further information for worldwide Exports, Commodity code support and advice from the Vol 2 of the Trade Tariff, supporting other colleagues with queries in relation to Incoterms, arranging transport collections and arranging chamber of commerce documentation.Further responsibility is managing the Inward Processing Authorisation for Megger, ensuring that all goods held under IP are clearly identifiable, all documents are readily available, completion of the BOD and applying for extensions if and when required. In January 2022 I was able to secure more cost effective transport to the nominated Freight Forwarder for exports to end users, which included arranging a weekly consolidation collection on a dedicated vehicle reducing freight trips on the roads.

Following the successful transition of the shipping solutions with in Clip Drape, I was offered the position of Logistics Manager. This was to continue overseeing all the companies shipping requirements and ensure orders were completed OTIF. This role has also seen me deal with imports and exports to our customers mainly in the UK and Ireland, however I do also deal with customers in Europe and beyond. Alongside this I compile all the customs paperwork from our European and Overseas suppliers to ensure minimal delays.

As the sales administrator for Clip Drape, I was responsible for managing and maintaining active quotations, ensuring invoices went out to customers, and dealing with enquires from customers in the absence of the sales managers. I was also responsible for overseeing the reorganisation of the shipping services within the business. This took 4 weeks and involved a move from TNT / FedEx over to DHL, which resulted in an average saving of 12.3% per shipment. It also provided a better, more reliable service for the customers.

Responsibilities, included managing existing customer accounts and maintaining long standing relationships, Introducing the Walter Geering collections to new Hotels and Guest houses, and promoting the high quality guest amenities available.

My main responsibilities included calling customers who are dispensing doctors, and encouraging them to sign up to Manufacturing Discount Schemes (MDS). I also managed MDS paperwork and send it off to relevant wholesalers. In addition to that, I analyse product sales data and identify any abnormalities in the sales data. I also compile a weekly report detailing my achievements and provide the client with an overview of my conversations with customers. I also have set sales targets which I am always meeting and excelling.
