Far back as I can remember I was fascinated by math and science. While my friends were reading car magazines I was pouring through pages of Sky and Telescope, and tinkering with Apple 2 computers. But I was also drawn to the humanistic side, which led me to the Seminary and teaching high school. Those early interests, along with the strong work ethic from my parents, have been the driving forces in my career.Today I combine my love of technology with my people skills in leading teams that deliver new levels of operational excellence. I have overseen multiple IT transformations involving cloud services, data centers, IT architecture, IT systems, and design and IS implementations. Through my technical knowledge and strategic thinking along with interpersonal skills and natural leadership I deliver in key areas. Executive Agility: Collaborated with generals and admirals, CEO’s and boards of directors, city and county officials to develop business and technology strategies to measure, improve and achieve organizational goals. Strategic Planning: Developed solutions to meet business objectives for many public sector organizations, including unified communications, data center, infrastructure, telecommunications, applications delivery, enterprise monitoring, and BI.Innovation: Led public sector organizations through transformations using cloud and hybrid solutions. Drove city and county enterprise applications implementation, IoT, SmartCities concepts and technology.Organizational Transformation: Reorganized IT divisions at several public sector organizations to better support their customers and other divisions. Planned and managed data center construction, infrastructure upgrades, and assisted with continuous process improvement. Systems and Application Integration: Managed enterprise software rollouts. Integrated server operating systems, storage platforms, networking solutions and virtualization platforms into heterogenous data center at the Pentagon.
