- Senior oversight, policy, and legislative resource on the Western Hemisphere in the House of Representatives. - Lead advisor to Subcommittee Ranking Member on all foreign policy and national security matters.- Conduct oversight of the U.S. strategy to counter violent extremism by engaging with government officials, religious leaders, and civil societies in European, Middle Eastern, and Latin American countries at the highest levels. - Write and pass legislation on topics including protecting freedom of speech, foreign assistance, and global health in an opposition led Congress.- Draft language for appropriations legislation and international agreements between governments and international organizations. - Significant work with U.S. State Department, USAID, foreign heads of state, multinational executives, and civil societies. - Active Top Secret clearance

Legislative Portfolio: Foreign Affairs, Defense, Homeland Security, Intelligence, JudiciaryDraft legislation within policy portfolio based on Member initiatives and stakeholder input.Provide testimony, Floor speeches and remarks to the Member for use during legislative proceedings and events.Advise Member with vote recommendations and policy initiatives.Staff Members for their events and meetings with CEO’s, foreign dignitaries and multinational organizations.Conduct meetings with constituents and stakeholders on behalf of the Member
