This unique control over the platform allows for an ease of use that enables quick, easy and secure customer transactions, as well as fast, efficient internal processing.The latest few years of the business have seen unprecedented scaling up due to exterior funding and interest, a scaling up that i have been an integral part of. My role is based within the operations department as a product specialist, checking, testing and photographing inbound gear as well as interfacing with the internal backend to get these products onto the customer facing frontend ready for sale. In this position my attention to detail and efficiency allows me to consistently exceed targets and become a central pillar of the team, driving throughput forward in order to facilitate the fast service MPB's customers expect. This paradoxical ethos has caused them to take the UK market by storm in a very short space of time, aiding their rapid expansion and allowing a wide customer base to experience the fun atmosphere and innovative product they supply.Responsibilities in my keyholder position include:-Opening and Closing the store-Handling floats at the start of the day-Cashing up up to nine tills holding large daily takings-Handling the store's reserve cash to keep till change at an efficient level -Creating store rotas and plans for the day-Analysing KPIs in order to effectively notify my team of potential problems and coordinate accordingly-Fixing issues with store tills and computer systems due to high exterior knowledge of PC hardware, network infrastructure, and operating systems-Training staff on till systems, merchandising and typical store and safety procedures-Extensive use of Intelligent Retail and Microsoft AX EPOS systems, both as front of house till systems, and back of house interfaces.-Serving as the first point of call for customer and staff queries-Relaying critical information and store targets etc to daily teams-Running my Brighton store to a high standard on especially busy weekend and holiday days-Liasing with further store management to effectively coordinate teams and solve key issues-Merchandising store sections to a high standard and keeping stock volume on the shop floor high-Efficiently handling returns and refunds for till staff-Liasing with external city centre security to facilitate the apprehension of thieves Show less
