Within NEPTUNE ENERGY offshore production activities are divided into three clusters, each led by a OIM (offshore installation manager). The Teamleader E&I is responsible for a smooth and safe operation of the electrical and instrumental (parts of the) installation by leading up to 8 to 10 Operators and E&I Technicians from NEPTUNE ENERGY and/or third parties, monitoring proper implementation of preventive, corrective electrical and instrumental work-activities and reports to the OIM. • Manages a team of Operator-E/I Technicians with regards to the achievement of (daily) electrical and instrumental activities, plans, prepares and prioritizes preventive and corrective maintenance, divides work and monitors progress, proper implementation and quality of work.• Coaches, motivates and engages his team, evaluates and discusses performance and makes proposals regarding further development of team members.• Takes into account the interests of various stakeholders and provides the right resources and materials at the right time and location for an unhindered execution of activities and minimal amount of operational disruptions.• Advises and informs the OIM on the availability, safety and reliability of electrical and instrumental equipment.• Contributes to projects aimed at preventing faults, improving the availability and safety of electrical and instrumental equipment and optimization of methods, procedures, etc.• Keeps the Maximo-maintenance system up to date and uses reports from it to evaluate performed work.• Writes periodic reports containing desired information and explanations.• Complies with applicable laws and regulations on safety, environment, occupational health, mining law and the procedures and arrangements stated in the operations manual with regards to all activities.

An Operator / E/I technician conducts routine maintanance and solves problems/faults to installations on a production platform offshore. Generators, electrical installations, P&ID installations (electrical aswel as pneumatical), detection systems and PLC's. Work orders are generated in a maintanance system (maximo) for regular and preventive maintanance, failures and ordering parts.As operator E/I you are the guard for the productionproces on the offshore platform, responsible for making work permits, guiding people on board and implementation of the safety rules.

Managing an Offshore Acces System (OAS), which means; operational control, maintanance, safety supervising, training clients/new trainees, provide engineering with system improvements, record all events (faults,near misses etc) in central database, client/company relationship

Maintain communication systems, radar/sonar, hydraulic crane and weapons systems.Control/maintain ROV for mine/explosive demolition and investigation

Installation and commisioning of security and video systems, mainly for coorporations and banking company's.
