- Fully supported our in-house post-production department for all finance needs including billing, expenses, and communication with account teams to secure client-signed job estimates and invoice approvals – lowering our average of un-signed estimates to 0.- Analyze monthly P&L’s and lead monthly financial reviews with senior finance management to discuss financial health of the department, revenue targets, gross contribution, utilization, and upcoming pipeline.- Lead weekly meetings with post producers to go through 20-30 active jobs/month to ensure its budget and timeline are accurate.- Developed a report to help measure employee productivity by department - hours sold vs. hours worked by project.- Prepare and finalize monthly close including revenue accruals and non-billable analysis – analyzing expense accounts to ensure costs were hitting the correct GLs.- Ensure operational studio software (CETA) and financial systems (AX Dynamics, Cognos, RichClient) are kept up to date.- Onboarding our newly developed department(s) into GS&P’s finance process – opening PO’s, project expense tracking.
