I am the Product Owner of GS1 Data Source, the Dutch data pool in the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), a platform that enables the exchange of accurate and standardized product data across industries and markets. I have been leading and developing GS1 Data Source for more than 14 years, from project initiation to migration to the current platform and continuous improvement. GS1 Nederland is a non-profit organization that provides standards and solutions for identification, data capture, and data sharing in various sectors, such as retail, healthcare, and logistics.As a data quality expert, I am passionate about ensuring the data pool meets the evolving needs and expectations of the users, who include 2000+ suppliers and 160 data recipients. GS1 Data Source is one of the largest GDSN data pools worldwide and a key enabler of data-driven innovation and efficiency. I work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog, deliver value-added features, and resolve issues. I also have a strong background in web publishing and online communities, having founded and run Schaatsforum.nl, the world's largest forum on speed skating, for 15 years. This experience has given me valuable insights into user engagement, content management, and online collaboration.
