As the Head of Digital Assets and Innovation at LDMA, I oversee the strategic development, management, and evolution of our digital platforms, including our flagship product, EasyQuotes. I was responsible for the creation of EasyQuotes as part of LDMA's vision to become the leading supplier and innovator in the insurance industry. In addition to this, I also serve as the Product Manager for our Agile ways of working and am a part of the Exco team at LDMA, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. My focus is on ensuring these platforms are strategically positioned in the market, aligned with LDMA’s goals, and optimized for both internal and external client needs.With nearly two decades of experience across advertising, branding, and design, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of how to marry creativity with technology to drive business growth. My career journey—from Creative Director at industry-leading agencies like Aqua Online and Gloo, to Managing Partner at Platinum Seed—has equipped me with a diverse skill set that spans creative strategy, integrated advertising, digital transformation, and team leadership.At LDMA, I lead efforts to innovate across digital assets, crafting marketing strategies that resonate with both clients and consumers. My role also involves managing relationships with various stakeholders, suppliers, and partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration of innovative solutions, and positioning our platforms for long-term success. I thrive in environments where creativity intersects with tech, and I'm passionate about pushing boundaries in the digital space.A highlight of my career was founding the Ogilvy Customer Innovation Lab, where I led tech-driven brand innovations. This consumer-centric approach continues to guide me as I lead the charge in digital transformation at LDMA. Notably, my work has earned several awards, including Creative Circle accolades and Loeries for campaigns that not only garnered industry recognition but also delivered tangible results, such as boosting SPCA adoption rates by 40%.On a personal level, I’m the co-founder of Braai Hero, an exciting disruptor in the spice and dry rubs market in South Africa, producing fresh, mouth-watering flavors that enhance any cooking occasion. I am also passionate about AI and Blockchain because they empower people with the freedom to innovate and create on exponential levels. In my spare time, I enjoy experimenting with art, photography, and drones, often blending these creative passions to fuel my work.
