Build and maintain SharePoint Farms as SharePoint Farm administrator. Conduct technical migration of SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 in VMWare server environment. Supporting member of the departmental Information Services Architectural Steering Committee.

Responsible for administration, analysis and support of infrastructure and web applications, both vendor-based and in-house. Managed projects, assisted in the evaluation and selection of new technologies, and promoted SharePoint all over the organization. Co-wrote an external-facing ASP.NET MVC2 web application to replace the Vermont Managed Care and Fletcher Allen Preferred Provider Directories using C#, Entity Framework, JQuery, JSON, SQL Server for our Vermont Managed Care customer in the fall of 2010.

Joined the Web Team to support the web infrastructure for the entire hospital. Web development centered on small ASP pages running on IIS. Provided web server support for Intradoc, the corporate document management system. Implemented the online Safety Manual in the document management system. Also supported Angel, the corporate online learning management tool.

Application developer for MAPLE, a data repository that collects clinical data from various interfaces, both external and internal hospital systems. Hosted on UNIX, the development effort involved the creation of a Communication Manager to handle the General Lab and the Anatomic Pathology messages that passed through the Interface Engine to the respository. The code was created with a vendor-based programming language by OACIS (later Dinmar). Wrote Perl, awk, and UNIX scripts to assist testing of historical data submissions through the interface. Source control was managed by RCS.
