I set my priorities and monitored workflows to manage the daily functions of office, including human resource and financial administration, records management and secretariat duties, as required to ensure the responsibilities and statutory obligations of the Deputy Commissioner are achieved.

With Reckon, I produce daily invoices (100+) and reconcile accounts for customers on a daily basis. A large part of my job is to make sure the staff who service the tanks know where to go and what to service. I also do bank reconciling daily and general bookkeeping/data entry duties. I am now getting trained in PPSRs.

Working for a small suburban Barbershop. My position is to attend the shop and take photos of the barbers cutting hair and taking photos of the aesthetic of the area. This is to help promote the business and reach out to more potential clients on social media. Since working in this role, photos I have taken have generated more reactions from previous work.

I partially completed my practical work experience as a Paramedic Student at Queensland Ambulance Service, where I underwent a first-year placement at Petrie Station in 2020 and a second-year placement at North Lakes Station in 2021. Throughout these placements, I gained valuable insights into the demands of paramedic life, shift work and the necessity of working extended hours without breaks for meals.It was a great opportunity for me to begin using the skills I had been taught at university and adapt them into real life scenarios. I had to quickly adapt to eating on the go, which taught me how to effectively prioritize my tasks and manage my time efficiently. Despite the challenges, I found immense satisfaction in interacting with our diverse community, which comprised individuals from various cultural backgrounds and genders.Working alongside healthcare professionals in nursing homes and hospitals, as well as collaborating with other paramedics, was a rewarding experience that enriched my journey as a Paramedic Student. The opportunity to learn from and work with such a diverse group of individuals has been invaluable in shaping my understanding of the healthcare field and honing my skills as a student.
