Project managing the launch the University of Bath MPharm Pharmacy programme for delivery at the University of Plymouth, in collaboration with both universities and NHS England.

Responsibilities included:- oversight of all quality assurance processes in Faculty of Health & Applied Sciences;- project management of PSRB accreditation renewal eg Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Interim role. Responsibilities included:- consulting on and authoring the Authority's decision pathway and meeting pulse;- mapping and reviewing of committee governance structures;- designing and implementing new officer decision form and process, linked to financial scheme of delegations;- identifying quick wins related to democracy and scrutiny; and- research on GDPR/data retention schedules.

Responsibilities included:• managing implementation of College Education Strategy within the Faculty;• contributing to the Faculty’s strategic planning, education policy and programme development;• providing oversight of the Faculty’s portfolio of taught programmes and the processes for quality assurance, including for dual and joint international programmes;• working with the Faculty Senior Management Team to improve the student experience: monitoring performance, proposing enhancements, and managing change;• supervising the development and implementation of new initiatives and policies to enhance the quality of educational provision in the Faculty; and• leading and managing the Education Team.

Responsibilities included:• leading on and managing projects emerging out of the agendas of Education Committees and the College education strategies;• management of the Faculty’s quality assurance agenda including oversight of all taught programme review processes and procedures;• managing the Faculty’s student voice agenda; and• co-ordination and delivery of Faculty-level processes and activities related to education.

Advising students' unions, universities and colleges through QAA's Higher Education Review. Included presenting at training events on student engagement and site visits to institutions.

Working to enhance student engagement within and across the QAA and the Higher Education sector. Responsibilities included:• project manager for two national conferences for students and staff, 'Quality Matters' and 'Developing Student Engagement and Partnership';• redesigned and authored QAA's student guidance, including 'Higher Education Review: Survival Guide for Students'• contract management with NUS on two national projects looking at Annual Quality Reports and Students' Union Staff Development; and• contract management for two research projects with King’s College London and the University of Bath.

Elected to represent students studying healthcare courses based at a separate campus, a role which required me to act as both a trustee and director of Cardiff University Students' Union. Main achievements included:• surveying 1,500 students to identify issues affecting them and campaigning for (and subsequently implementing) the recommended changes;• redesigning the Union's strategy;• campaigning for increased funding and student support at the Healthcare campus;• arranging large-scale events; and• redeveloping a key area on campus acting on student feedback.
