Managed FIN46/FAS140/SFAS167 Consolidations Project and FAS133/FAS149 Restatement Accounting for Commitments Execution (RACE) Two-Way Pairoff and RCC Eligibity Project. Creating Business Requirements, Process Flows, Test Plans, Test Cases and managing the enhancement/development of several EUCs in preparation of the impact of Consolidations. Overseeing the business owner(s) participation in Business Operations Testing. Working with business owners, development team, SOX implementation, PMO, Capital Markets and Audit ensuring accuracy, completeness and success in meeting the deadlines per the project plan's milestone deliverables.

Executed monthly close deliverables for Commitments Accounting. Created,maintained and presented intramonth, monthly and quarterly Commitments Analytics packages focusing on income statement impact [derivative fair vale gains/(losses)] at monthly Securities Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Controller meetings.

Joined the Hedge Accounting Operations team in the Controller’s Department. Developed and maintained analytics on Fannie Mae’s Hedge Program in the effort to offset interest rate risk and changes in fair value for a population of Multi-Family Loans, CMBS, and Single-Family MBS attributable to changes in the benchmark rate. Accomplished the team's objective to achieve accounting treatment for this program as defined by FAS133. Performed prospective and retrospective regression analysis to measure hedge effectiveness.

Internal Auditor facilitating the field work of the 2008 Mortgage Asset Mark-to-Market audit. Audit scope included population and market data input, pricing methodologies, fair market value marks validation (FAS 157 implementation) and approval, application, database, operating system, and EUC controls.

• Joined the Mortgage Commitments Analytics team in the Accounting Operations department during restatement, catch-up and get current periods for reporting years 2001 through 2007. • Created Business and Data Requirements for Analytics files generated from data source systems. • Worked with development teams to create an analytics package summarizing Mortgage-Backed Securities and Whole Loan commitments data. Created P&L impact and executive summaries for middle and upper management.• Analyzed and confirmed pricing marks on open and settled commitments with the Asset Mark-to-Market Pricing team in the Capital Markets division. Performed validations through gain/loss reconciliations between Analytics results and the general ledger.• Presented Analytics results, as they applied to derivative fair value net gain/loss on 10k disclosures for mortgage commitments, to the SVP and Controller of the Finance division using market analysis to explain trends.
