PMO Lead supporting the governance framework for a Security Programme, focusing on reporting and financial gateway controls.

Based in IT Solutions Division, managing the production and analysis of KPI Reporting Decks and Management Reporting packs as well as running the IT Product Delivery Resource Management process on a day-to-day process.

Senior PMO Analyst for a major data migration project. I managed progress reporting for the Implementation and Warranty workstreams for 2 migration programmes as well as maintaining and enforcing standards of Project Management Practice. Responsible for the generation, review and sign-off of major Project Documentation such as the Implementation Approach and the Implementation Plan.

I was the PMO Manager for a portfolio of projects in the West Midlands, managing all progress and financial reporting for 7 projects. I was responsible for project accounting, financial reporting and resource management.
In a previous engagement I was the PMO Manager for a major Enterprise project with a client company in South-West England. My role comprised of project reporting, management of the RAID and Change logs and processes, cost tracking and reporting, relationship management with the client PMO (including coaching/mentoring the Client’s PMO team), managing 3 graduate PMO staff and PMO workstream management.

Various roles within different Business Units/Programmes comprising of:

Project office support for a programme of IT projects, introducing and maintaining project management deliverables and processes (including Project Microsites on the company Sharepoint based intranet comprising of RAID logs, Quality Plans and Cost-Trackers) for use by Project Managers.

Secondment as a Project Manager, responsible for planning, reporting, stakeholder management full logging of all project information and managing relationships with external parties.

Running a PMO for the one of the largest IT programmes in the company at the time, managing the RAID logs, project Microsites resource plan, detailed development plan and the change control
process. I also maintained governance standards within the programme and delivered work packages of projects.

in which I was responsible for all of the PMO activities for the project (including processes, metrics and project documentation) for a major data transfer project. I designed a new reporting process, and took the lead for Quality on the project as well as maintaining a relationship with an off-shore third party supplier.

I was responsible for management of projects of new clients joining the service provided by the company: included reporting (to both the customer and the Board of Directors), managing the project plan, process and policy writing, management of risks, issues and changes. Monetary value of projects was measured by the value of the contract (anywhere from £250k to £2.5 million).

I set up the Programme Office with a Senior Project Manager. The new PMO function delivered new
Templates/Processes (including Control Management, Scope Management, Risk Management, Benefits Realisation, Project Quality Healthchecks, standards and guidelines for planning and
reporting). As well as maintaining the Governance and Standards, I was also responsible for management reporting (to Group/Director level) and company wide project resourcing issues. The Programme Office supported some 100+ projects. I designed and introduced processes for inter-departmental project workflows.

Co-ordinator of a programme of 7 high-profile International Private Banking projects (with a combined budget of £12million): maintaining financial and project reporting, programme and project planning, monitoring and recording all changes/risks/issues, and resource management across the programme. I also took a lead in the PMO for the redesign and introduction of monthly and weekly programme/project status reports.

Responsible for managing a book of work covering of over 100 projects with a combined budget in excess of £10 million. Key tasks included reporting to IT board on a regular basis, reviewing the
quality of planning and reporting and the management of an interdependency model including resources risk and issues. I also successfully managed an internal project to transfer a reporting system from a series of Excel spreadsheets to an Access database.
