Set up new Help Desk support system in Salesforce Service Cloud with custom console and Apex triggers. Re-engineered SSIS package that generates monthly data extract files for multiple health care implementing agencies nationwide to make the extract files HIPAA compliant based on current agreements between NFP and the recipients of the data files. Fully automated the monthly data extracts via SQL Server Agent job. This automation involved adding a new linked server to the source database server, replacing all instances of drive letters with full paths to multiple locations on source and destination servers in the SSIS package and the Windows batch scripts. Configured sFTP sites in IIS for new data extracts. Created and implemented a new database level roles based on group access levels. Created database template for setting up new agency databases. Documented current information systems architecture in preparation for conversion to a Corporate Information Factory (CIF) architecture using Visio, Word, Excel, and Sharepoint. Loaded Pricing data into the Salesforce database using the Salesforce DataLoader tool and various other tools to analyze, manipulate, and prepare the data for loading it into the database. These tools included Oracle SQL Developer, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, and MS Access. With DataLoader I was able to write custom queries to perform inserts, upserts, exports, and deletes to and from .csv files I had prepared. Pricing consists of 20+ tables/objects that had to be loaded properly in order for the CenturyLink products/bundles being sold to appear correctly in the CenturyLink Quick Pricing web application. I used vlookup and various other Excel functions, macros, and Visual Basic code I had developed to prepare the data for loading. I use several other components of Salesforce for data analysis, code analysis, and unit testing. I documented the Pricing database schema, the Pricing data loading process, and troubleshooting tips using MS Word and Visio. We utilized Agile methodologies for planning, grooming, and tracking all projects.

Developed and maintained the Ontrak system. Ontrak is an inhouse system developed and used by TransFirst to conduct their core daily business operations. My duties consisted of developing new components and enhancements to the Ontrak system and performing maintenance on existing Ontrak applications. As a prominant member of the Efficiency Improvement Team (EIT) at TransFirst, I was responsible for indentifying, researching, developing, and deploying resolutions to inefficiencies in the Ontrak system. Within nine months of the onset of the team, EIT was able to increase the efficiency of the merchant application boarding process by 35%.

Accomplishments on ERCOT Nodal Project:• Wrote rate schedules and riders in Lodestar Rules Language to be used for the Real Time Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) calculations. • Set up a Time of Use schedule for CRR in accordance with documented protocols.• Wrote several stored procedures in Oracle 10g PL/SQL, e.g. GETINTD pulls specific interval data and the associated header records from the database, parsing the blob containing the interval data into a float value for each interval in the time period; TOU calculates Time of Use hours for CRR; and CARD calculates CRR Auction Revenue Disbursements including revenues, bill amounts, and bill totals. All of these stored procedures utilize Associative Arrays, Collections, and Varrays in lieu of cursors for optimal performance. TOU is packaged with CARD. The package is called by a Lodestar rate schedule.• Proficient in CVS and Eclipse for version control, SharePoint for document management, and Mercury Quality Center 9.0 for tracking project status between functional areas and for tracking Lodestar and metadata issues.• Compiled the System Architectural Design document of all the Lodestar and PL/SQL development for the Nodal project. This document is visible to Market Participants and the public via the ERCOT Nodal Project website.• Wrote procedures for accomplishing a clean install of Oracle 10g client.

Development, enhancements, and maintenance of the OnTrak System using full life cycle project management disciplines. All development in the OnTrak System involved heavy use of stored procedures, user objects, and inheritance.• Added functionality to the AppTrak library of OnTrak to automate the Discover card merchant application process. This project required the creation of 5 new tables in the MS SQL Sever databases; 1 new window, 1 new data pipeline, 2 new datawindows, 9 new functions, and 7 new powerscripts, as well as enhancements to 2 existing powerscripts and 4 existing datawindows.• Enhanced the TerminalTrak library by adding a new point of sale terminal report which required a new datawindow.• Added a vendor code entry and display box to the AppTrak library.
