I am a programmer. I love the simple pleasure of creating something and see it come to life. Coming to life might not be a very accurate description of seeing ‘Hello world’ on a white screen or some coloured LEDs blinking, but that is what it feels like. I love the act of creating something with my own two hands. Although I am only typing letters on a keyboard, this is still the feeling I get. I take pride in the things I create, but also in the way it is created. And then I became a consultant. When you enjoy challenging your self and expanding your world view, it sounds like a good idea, and luckily for me it was. After joining Webstep I have had the pleasure of getting familiar with old technologies as well as the bleeding edge. I have been challenged with holding presentations and workshops to spread the word, internally in the company as well as with customers and the programming community.The next step in my journey is stepping up and taking charge. At Xeris I found a team where I can do that while letting my strengths shine. I work with customer relations, architecture, business and product development, planning and strategy. I dip my hands in everything while having a fantastic team behind me to follow through and bring everything to life. Working like this is thoroughly rewarding and the adventure has only just started.
