Lim holds a wide-ranging concrete R&D experience over his 5 years’ service, cover design strength ranging from 3.5 MPa to 120 MPa. He functioned as QAQC cum R&D Engineer with Malaysia largest Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) manufacturer, Starken AAC Sdn. Bhd. which delivering world class light weight solution. After 1-year service with Starken, his exposure broadens to precast, ready-mix and ultra-high performance concrete industries as transferred to Green Cement Sdn. Bhd. Green Cement Sdn, Bhd. commit to be recognized as representative building materials company in promoting efficient use of eco-friendly processed materials, GREEN THE FUTURE, hence providing the best training ground for application of SCMs in various concrete industries. Furthermore, lab trials and production trials on different type of supplementary cementitious material (SCM) allows him to gain technical and practical knowledge for utilization of pulverize fly ash, ground granulated blast furnace slag, silica fume etc. He is responsible for R&D of green soil stabilization technique to construct sustainable road. Lastly, he is one of Green Cement Sdn, Bhd. representative committee to write in coal bottom ash as fine aggregate alternative replacement under Sirim ECO 065: eco-labelling criteria. He facilitates G-Cast Concrete Sdn. Bhd. SS EN 206 certification, Starken AAC Sdn. Bhd. ISO certification, Sirim product certification, eco-label & etc.
