Consulted on pharmacy services for the two new hospitals that were built in the Turks & Caicos

Provided leadership for the in-patient, retail and cancer centre pharmacy staffs at Grand River Hospital.  Created and maintained a multi-year roadmap for each of the three pharmacies that aligned each of the business unit strategies with the organization’s strategies and technology efforts. Led the functional planning of the new pharmacy and oversaw the renovation of the chemotherapy clean room to better meet the requirements of USP 797 standards for the retail pharmacy.  Implemented a Quality Improvement System for the Waterloo Wellington & South West Community Care Access Centre IV Infusion Contract. Achieved significant revenues during the contracted period for the hospital. Established the Multidisciplinary Oncology Symposium (MOS) for LHIN-3. This symposium continues annually to date.

 Provided leadership for the Juravinski Cancer Centre pharmacy [formerly Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre] and the Juravinski In-patient Pharmacy [formerly Henderson Hospital] after the 2004 merger with Hamilton Health Sciences when those facilities were renamed the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Juravinski Hospital respectively

 Led the functional plan for the new cancer centre pharmacies (ambulatory and retail pharmacies)  Developed the Chemotherapy Preparation and Checking Course, a partnership between the Cancer Centre and Mohawk College Pharmacy Technician Certification Program.

 Functional Plan for New Pharmacy (1997-1999. Responsible for consolidating the hospital pharmacy services from Brantford General Hospital (BGH) and Willett Hospital sites in Brant County to one site (BGH). Pre-Administration Medication Program (PAM) (1998). Led, developed and implemented the program for patients to use their home medications while admitted in the surgical units.

 Introduced the new concept of pharmaceutical care to BGH pharmacists which is a philosophy where pharmacists take responsibility for a patient’s drug-related problems.  Self-Administered Medication Program (SAM) (1997). Led a team of nurses and physicians to empower mothers to self-medicate for analgesia while admitted.
