For Exports•Overall responsible for coordination of customer order fulfillment,from receipt of the customer order to delivery to customer•Managing completion of internal export orders•Shipment planning and coordination with production for timely delivery to customer•Monitoring preparation of pre & post shipment documents and their submission to various banks, agencies & agents•Handling existing customers in the Bahrain, Dubai, Hong Kong,Singapore,Malaysia,USA etc•Directly interact with international clients, resolve queries, dispatch samples & ensure business development•Maintained good relationship with leading banks like Habib Metropolitan, Askari Bank, Habib Bank A.G Zurich, UBL, Soneri, Standard Chartered, American Express, Citibank etc•Undertaking freight negotiations with shipping companies, airline•Responsible for all activities relating to cost effective logistic•Arranging the pre-shipment inspection(if reqd)•Arranging Certificate of Origin for overseas shipments•Documentation & relevant email correspondence in accordance to 9001:2000 standards•Applying for Narcotic permissions for all the narcotic shipments•Preparation of bank liabilities in respect of import & export•Handling L/C shipments•Handling shipments which need SGS inspection including arranging a SGS surveyor•Handled the shipments which were sealed at Air and Sea Customs,Karachi•Electronically tracking the status of all the shipments using PACCS website & preparing a report of the sameFor Imports•Overall responsible for coordination with suppliers for import of machinery & raw materials, from opening of L/C till clearance & release of consignment•Submission of relevant documents received from overseas supplier to customs after verification for the same •Checking the checklist received from customs for clearing the shipment•Follow up with customs for clearance of the consignment•Submission of proper & relevant documents to bank for payment of import
