Development of end to end interfaces for different applications within Volvo using Websphere Message Broker and Websphere MQ. The clients include Renault truck, Volvo CE, Volvo trucks, Volvo Financial Services, Custom for Volvo etc.The interfaces perform the necessary transformation between the different application data structure. Transformation may involve a GMF in between to enhance re-usability. This involved interacting with the Swedish Counterparts right from procuring the requirements to deployment in production. As part of this assignment was relocated to Sweden for two months to facilitate the interaction with the clients.

ECS 4 DevelopmentThis interface includes the necessary transformation between CBOM and Native Data Structures. Message Flows also handles Routing to the Appropriate Systems(Recap, RxClaim and QL(Quantum Leap).ECS 5 DevelopmentReverse engineering the existing ECS 4 Codebase and creating the Functional Requirement Document. ECS 5 involves the Addition of the ELDM Structure in between CBOM and native Systems.Creating the Message flows that perform the necessary transformation between CBOM, ELDM and Native Data Structures. Message Flows also handles Routing to the Appropriate Systems(Recap, RxClaim and QL(Quantum Leap).

As part of this assignment, I was first introduced to the EAI platform. I got to work on different IBM Websphere products. o First assignment involved developing a subflow that enables the client application to book\cancel a ticket using Websphere Message Broker and Websphere MQ. o Second assignment involved developing an internal deployment tool for Datapower that would automate the migration of datapower services from one domain to the other. This tool was developed using Unix Shell scripting.o Third assignment involved development and support for AstraZeneca client. It involved creation of Application Adapters that does the conversion from/to file to/from message. It also involved real time monitoring of the queues and adapters to check for failures and rectify the same if any.

Setup and maintenance of MySQL, Mssql Server (2000 & 2005) and setup of OLAP Data Mining Tools. In charge of conducting labs for the data mining class, this included Preparing lab exercises, granting/revoking privileges and grading the student’s lab work.

As a Graduate Student, worked at the University assisting the professor for undergraduate courses. Responsibilities included assisting students in course work, clarification of doubts, preparing assignments for the class and grading the assignments.This exposure helped me in learning to manage different roles at the same time.
